I just wanted to write this letter to express how happy we are with our pool and how glad we are that we chose Aqua over the other companies out there. From start to finish and top to bottom we are very pleased with the quality of the finished product, the customer service provided, and the warranty department's fast response to any issues that we have had.
We met with and received a bid from Swan Pools and talked briefly to someone at Premier Pools, but neither came close to the level of knowledge and professionalism exemplified by your sales representative, Mark Andronico. Over the course of three or four meetings with Mr. Andronico to discuss our pool plans he was always helpful, patient, and understanding of our wants and needs. He provided us with excellent ideas to help us come up with an absolutely beautiful and unique pool design for our backyard. We felt very well informed about every decision in the process and Mark worked within our budget and thoroughly explained the breakdown in costs, which made us feel more comfortable with our purchase and the purchase price of the pool.
I personally am a sales professional so I can appreciate how difficult the job can be, especially working with a customer as meticulous as I am. However, I want to commend a job well done by Mark Andronico because he was head and shoulders above anyone else that we spoke to with the other companies I mentioned earlier.
I will undoubtedly recommend Aqua Pools to anyone that we know that is interested in buying a pool. As a matter of fact our neighbors just around the corner, Dan and Mary Garrity, had looked at three different pool companies and could not make a decision on which to go with. They eventually decided to go with the fourth company, Aqua Pools, after we recommended they speak to Mark Andronico. I think, again, this speaks volumes about Mr. Andronico and his ability to give the customer exactly the pool design they want at a fair price.

A little over one year ago, our family purchased an in-ground, gunite pool. Aqua Pool & Spa assigned Mark Andronico to us after we had a very disappointing experience with another salesperson from the same company. Because of our poor experience with the other salesperson we were hesitant to continue discussions with this company. But after our first meeting with Mark, we were willing to reconsider. Mark was very professional; he listened to our questions, concerns and ideas; and he ultimately designed a pool that exceeded our expectations.
Mark was well educated and provided intelligent answers to our questions. If he didn’t have an answer for us, he was always quick to follow up and provide one. Mark was also able to offer multiple suggestions into the design of our pool and worked hard to incorporate all of our requests.
The result of our time with Mark was the creation of a beautiful pool that our family will enjoy for many years. His attitude, courtesy, and knowledge of the trade made the pool purchasing process an enjoyable one. The Castillo family thought it would be appropriate to let you know how so very “pleased” we are with Mark Andronico and Rick Kaitz performance in our backyard. After meeting with Mark for the first time within 15 minutes of talking with him we knew that he had the ability to design our backyard and, the pool of our dreams. We had absolutely no doubt that we had found the right person, so much so that we did not need to talk to any other pool contractors. We took only 1 bid and that was from Aqua Pool. Mark made the process easy, and any time we had a question he had answers. My husband says “Mark is a problem solver not a problem maker”.
What we experienced with Mark was a very easygoing gentleman. His no pressure sales were perfect, I hate to feel pressured when I’m spending a lot of money. There was never any problem that Mark could not take care of or handle. The attention to detail was awesome. The ability to maximize our space with the pool, yard and side access was top notch. The side access in our backyard was a “great” bonus. Mark was amazing in following up with us, and returning my phone calls promptly. I was never made to feel that my questions were silly by either Mark or Rick. As I’m sure they have answered the same questions hundreds of times. And also, the vision that Mark had was always in my dreams, he just had the ability to put that dream on paper and turn it into my backyard. Mark’s vision and ideas are incredible.
After meeting Rick Kaitz and working with him our experience was very professional. He always says what he does and does what he says. That is very rare to find in people now days. Rick always kept me informed and on schedule. Rick was concerned about rain delays (remember November/December 2005) and keeping the job site moving ahead. The quality of work that Rick’s crew completed in our backyard is phenomenal.
Now that the landscaping in the backyard is complete our yard seems more like a private resort than someone’s yard.
We are probably the Happiest Customers that Aqua Pool and Spa has ever had.

I would like to express my appreciation and thanks for all of the work done by Mark Andronico. Mark was our salesman and pool designer for our pool. Back in July, we met with Mark to design our pool and back yard. Little did we know how much of a headache our project was to become.
We had an easement behind our house which we bought along with our neighbors. When we first bought our house, we did not believe we could ever put in a pool. After we bought out the easement, we asked the South San Joaquin Irrigation District whether or not we could possibly put in a pool. Two different employees, both of who came out to inspect the property and after checking their maps, told us that the irrigation pipeline, for which we knew there was still an easement, ran through the back part of our property (in the bought out easement).
We finalized our contract and Mark and Aqua submitted all of our paperwork. Little did we know that we would hit a huge pipe which ran through the middle of our yard! I think we would have cut our losses and paid for the dig and went on our merry way if it weren't for Mark. He worked with us on a redesign, redrew the pool to the irrigation district's strict standards, reapplied for a permit with the irrigation district, and helped see our project through completion.
Mark consistently told us to call him if we ever had any questions. He definitely had to live up to these words since we DID have problems! Mark was always available to us and courteous and helpful. He never hesitated to make calls for us and always had time to see or talk to us. He did an outstanding job, and I hope that you can pass on the kudos to him for us.
I would also like to recognize Sam Briggs for keeping on our project and building us a beautiful pool. He was professional and pleasant even with my nagging phone calls. All of your pool construction crews were efficient, professional and clean! I would also like to commend the landscaping crew headed by Antonio. What a great group of guys! They worked hard and cranked through the sprinkler/drainage systems and laying down the sod.
I am happy to say that we have finally finished the landscaping of our backyard today and the workers are finishing water-sealing our arbor. We are so pleased with our pool and back yard. The arbor looks great, and my family and I are looking forward to the upcoming months when we can sit back and enjoy swimming in our pool.
We would and will recommend Aqua Pool and Spa to our family and friends because we were very pleased with the quality work that your company did for us.

As the owner of Aqua Pool and Spa, we just want you to know how happy we are with Aqua Pools. After interviewing four different companies, including Swan Pools; Nelson Pools; and Premier Pools, the decision seemed easy so we decided to hire Mark Andronico of Aqua Pools.
Your designer that came to our house, Mark Andronico, not only had the best design but was the most professional out of all of the other companies. He was a very good listener and wanted to be very clear on what our needs were before he attempted to do any drawings at all. Unlike the other companies, they all tried to do a pencil sketch on the first appointment and tried to sell us a pool on the very first appointment.
Mark was much more thorough on all aspects of the designing, much more creative, and we realized he was not there to sell us a pool on the very first appointment. He was there to gather all of our information so he could come up with the best design. He was also the most thorough going into a lot of detail on the equipment, customer service, warranties, pool service and scheduling.
During the phases of construction we worked with Sam, the project manager, who was very detailed as Mark was so they made a great team. Sam kept us in the loop on all phases of construction. The construction was done in a timely fashion. Aqua Pools cleaned up on a daily basis as we remember Mark representing to us during the sales process that they would.
Also, any time we called Mark about a question, if he did not answer his phone, he would always get back to us on the same day. The customer service with Mark and Aqua Pools definitely exceeded our expectations and we would highly recommend Mark as a designer and Aqua Pools as our builder.

As we searched the yellow pages and listened to different sales pitches from other companies, we knew that Mark stood head and shoulders above everyone else because of his direct and honest approach to building a pool.
Mark was, by no means, trying to sell us the least expensive or even most expensive pool. He is all about quality and how we will be able to enjoy our backyard for many years. Mark patiently answered all of our questions with honesty and sincerity. He wanted us to be happy with the most minute of details - whether it be the color of the deck; the Pebble-tec; the waterfall; the gas line; the drinking fountain hookup; the redwood trees; and even the lighting for the trees. Mark wanted to deliver the whole package... and boy did he ever! When we needed a little extra dirt to take care of the low area where the "bobcat" had driven (an unexpected issue), Mark was there to fix the problem.
We highly recommend Mark for all aspects of designing a pool. He knows how to draw up a beautiful blueprint and execute it to perfection. If you would like to see our pool at anytime, we have no problem showing off Mark's work. Mark has the ability to provide the customer with all the details and guide them to the right decisions at the same time. We recently had the opportunity to visit your new design center in Ripon. Although we missed seeing you at the center I wanted to contact you via this letter to thank you once again for your outstanding care and design of our swimming pool.
This letter is long overdue since your company completed our swimming pool in November 2004. In hindsight however, a better benchmark for the service you've provided is over more than the initial period of design and build of a swimming pool.
When we first met to discuss what we were looking for in a pool you were the only pool company representative that seemed to have a sincere interest in listening to what we wanted in our pool design. The pool was to be the centerpiece of our landscaping and you immediately embraced our vision for the "tropical" design. More importantly you had many great ideas that we incorporated into our initial plans. The finished product is incredible and we never tire of hanging out in our own tropical resort.
However, going beyond the design work and attention you provided, Aqua Pools as a company has been outstanding with regard to follow up on a couple of items that required attention. There was a lighting problem on the deck area adjacent to the waterfall and Aqua Pools stepped right up to remove & replace the decking.
I just wanted to take the time to contact you once again to relate how much we appreciated yours and Aqua Pools & Spas service on our pool and landscaping project.
